Snowball!

After our Reading lesson on "Purposes for Reading", we made snowballs!  I put a prompt on the board and we all wrote down our favorite purpose for reading with an example.  We crumpled our papers into a "snowball", and tossed them onto the rug! After that fun we each picked a snowball and learned something new about our classmates.

Some of the interesting responses were to read to learn, to get smart, and to learn new things! A lot of us like to read for entertainment, to laugh, and to enjoy a good story.  We had a lot of fun in Reading today!
